Kevin Hart: Co-stars made me funny
Kevin Hart has credited his co-stars with helping him to be at his funniest for Think Like A Man Too.
The comedy actor returned to the film franchise about four couples who are friends for the sequel, which sees them head to Las Vegas for a wedding, and said it had made him reflect on how he had developed as an actor since the first 2012 film.
He said: "For me, it was great because I got to see where I am in my acting career. After Think Like A Man I went on and I was doing so much, so to come back and to tap back into Cedric, I thought, 'OK Kevin, make sure you don't show glimpses of this person and this person as you did in these films when you go back to set.'
"What made that easy was getting back around [my co-stars]. Once we got back and it was like being a pinball in a pinball machine and I got to bouncing off of everybody I got those cadences back, and honestly I forgot how much fun Cedric was.
"Cedric is fun, but what makes him fun is the environment Cedric is in. I credit the levels of funny I'm able to go to, to these guys for giving me the opportunity to bounce off and give me what I need to give them things back."
He added: "You need a very gracious cast to be able to do that type of stuff, so it honestly was very refreshing and fun to come back to after the other projects that I was doing."
Kevin stars alongside Michael Ealy, Jerry Ferrara and Gary Owen in Think Like A Man Too, which is released on September 19.
