Julia Roberts's three-year-old son Henry makes his big-screen debut in new movie Fireflies In The Garden - as a baby bump.

The Pretty Woman star was seven months pregnant when she shot the film back in 2007 and revealed to People she felt moved to watch it again.

Julia said: "When I see it now, he's this big boy who can dress himself and do all these things. It really is touching to see that."

Told in flashbacks, Fireflies In The Garden follows Ryan Reynolds as a young novelist who returns to his hometown for a family reunion 17 years after his mother (played by Julia) was killed in a tragic accident.

Julia, 43, could relate to the portrayal of motherhood in the fim.

She said: "I think it's challenging for everybody in different ways.

"My challenges as a wife and a mother are very different from the ones portrayed in the movie, but I think for everybody it's a hard challenge."

Julia also quipped it was strange playing 34-year-old Ryan Reynolds' mother in the film.

She joked it was "bizarre at first, because he's so tall!" and added, "But it worked out all right. He's a good boy!"
