Julia Roberts looks set to star in the English-language remake of Argentinian film The Secret In Their Eyes.
The Oscar-winning actress is currently in talks about the crime thriller, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
Movie bosses are apparently so keen to land Julia that a part originally intended for a male actor was rewritten as a female for her.
Gwyneth Paltrow and Chiwetel Ejiofor are already on board Billy Ray's crime thriller, a reboot of the 2009 Academy Award-winning film from Juan Jose Campanella.
Julia, 46, is tipped to play a woman whose daughter is murdered, and her friend returns to the case years later.
The role of the friend might be played by Chiwetel, as when the film was first announced it was reported that he would star as an ex spy who is still obsessed with an unsolved murder.
