Jennifer Hudson joins in Lullaby
Jennifer Hudson, Amy Adams and Downton Abbey star Jessica Brown Findlay are among those who have signed up to star in new ensemble comedy-drama Lullaby.
First-time director Andrew Levitas will be directing from his own script, and has managed to land an impressive cast, which also includes The Visitor's Richard Jenkins and Iron Man's Terrence Howard, movie blog Collider.com reports.
Tron: Legacy's Garrett Hedlund will star as Jonathan, a young man who is told that his father, played by Richard, who has been seriously ill for years, has chosen to take himself off life support. Jonathan has less than 48 hours to work his way back into the lives of his estranged family in the story which is said to be filled with comedy moments, despite its grave subject matter.
The film, inspired by Levitas' own life as an artist, is set to begin shooting on location in New York in June.
