Jason Statham talks Expendables 2
Jason Statham has revealed he can't wait to begin work on The Expendables 2 in Bulgaria in October.
The British hardman is set to reprise his role in the sequel to the 2010 blockbuster, along with Sylvester Stallone, Dolph Lundgren, Mickey Rourke and Jet Li.
Jason revealed to Collider.com at the Toronto Film Festival: "Yeah, yeah Sly and the motley crew are gonna get together and I've been invited to the party, and I wanna go there.
"I had such a great time with Sly, he's a man I'm very happy to work with again.
"They start in two weeks time. I'm making a movie with Taylor Hackford in New Orleans called Parker, I'm going straight from there to Bulgaria. That's where we're at, Expendables 2 Bulgaria."
It has been reported that Arnold Schwarzenegger and Bruce Willis, who cameoed in the first film, are set for "substantial roles" in The Expendables 2, along with Chuck Norris, John Travolta and Jean Claude Van Damme.
Jason said he knew who was going to be appearing in the sequel, but that he wasn't allowed to reveal them.
He said: "It's not secret, but the confirmation of who's in it I can't give you. But every name in the book has been bandied around, I mean there's no one out there that hasn't done great action along the course of their career that hasn't been at some point mentioned as being in the film, so who the f*** knows?"
Sly directed the first film himself, but Simon West will be stepping into the director's chair for the follow-up.
