Jason Bourne role impresses Alicia Vikander's old housemates
Jason Bourne actress Alicia Vikander says the people most impressed by her starring role in the spy thriller were her old housemates.
Vikander was a big Bourne fan before she was cast as CIA agent Heather Lee alongside Matt Damon.
Appearing on ITV's Lorraine, she said: "When I moved to London I lived with some girlfriends and we had the box of the trilogy. I remember on Sundays and when we didn't have anything else to do, we would re-watch Bourne.
"They were the first people that I called when I heard. They were probably the most impressed of anyone."
The Swedish-born actress, 27, said she was looking forward to hitting the red carpet for the premiere in London on Monday evening.
On her personal style, she told Lorraine Kelly: "I guess I just like to play around with it.
"I'm very much: I have my three pairs of black jeans and my T-shirts that I have, and then of course this is just a chance to get to dress up."
The Oscar-nominated actress will soon star as Lara Croft in Tomb Raider, taking over the role from Angelina Jolie.
She said: "She was such an icon and I grew up loving these films and I played the game when I was a kid, but they rebooted the game a few years ago so it's now becoming more of an origins story, so it's quite different.
"I'm excited to do the stunts that will be involved."
