Jackson to star in King's Cell
Samuel L Jackson is set to star in the film adaptation of Stephen King's apocalyptic thriller, Cell.
The Django Unchained actor will co-star alongside John Cusack in the movie which is due to begin filming in January, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Samuel will play an engineer and former soldier who escapes from Boston with John's character after a mysterious pulse transmitted by mobile phones spreads like a virus among humans.
Stephen King has co-written the adapted screenplay for Cell from his original novel.
Samuel can next be seen in action film Oldboy with Josh Brolin, has filmed parts in RoboCop and Captain America: The Winter Soldier, and is signed up to The Avengers: Age Of Ultron and Captain America spin-off Nick Fury.
