Jackass star Johnny gets fearless
Jackass star Johnny Knoxville has become more fearless about stunts as he's got older.
"I think it hurts just as bad but I may care a little less now," the star revealed at the Hollywood premiere of Jackass 3D.
One of Johnny's impressive scenes in the film sees him charged at head-on by a bull. "Nothing is as fun as shooting Jackass, I just get excited and then you worry about it later," he explained.
Co-star Bam Margera revealed he made the critical error of admitting his worst fear while making the film. "I made a poor decision which was to say I was terrified of snakes to the director of the movie and so I fall into a pit of snakes," he said.
"Twelve feet down and I can't get out, so I start crying, that was the worst ever," he admitted.
"Finally Ryan Dunn pulled me out. I've never fainted before but that was the closest I ever came."
Fellow cast member Steve O said despite picking up a whole host of injuries including a broken nose, he has no plans to pack in the daredevil stunts.
Perhaps his most impressive feat in the film sees him fired into the sky in a Portaloo attached to a bungee rope. "It's bad ideas seen to fruition," he laughed.
A decade on from the show first airing on MTV, Johnny maintains he and the boys still love the whole Jackass experience.
"We give each other hell but you can tell we've been a family for 10 years and we love each other, ever after we just knock one of the other dudes out," he laughed.
