Isn't that Brad Pitt just a bit too nice?
Men want to be him. Women want to be with him. It's hard not to resort to cliche with Brad Pitt. The actor has attracted the attention of men and women for more 20 years now, and despite nearing 50, such attention has yet to abate. You suspect a Faustian pact may be at play.
Last week the attention came from a man, namely a bridegroom, as the Hollywood star was sought to pose for photos with the man and his new wife, who were holding their reception at the same English hotel where Pitt was staying.
Pitt obliged them before congratulating the couple and complementing the wedding party, which was reported in the media as Brad Pitt 'crashes' wedding, although British tabloids never have been one for the accurate nuance.
Of course it's not the first-time an A-list star has got caught up in festivities. Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe spent a night last year partying with the victorious Dublin minor football team in Dundrum, while LeAnn Rimes only a few weeks ago was snapped in Copper Face Jacks just 24 hours before cancelling a Dublin gig due to illness, with which many a young nurse and garda can surely sympathise.
But with Pitt, there's more of an air of grace and class, as you would expect of Angelina Jolie's other half. You want to begrudge him for his fame, fortune and soon-to-be-wife, but he seems too bloody nice.
