Katie Holmes is "very upset" by negative stories about the screening of The Son Of No One at the Sundance Film Festival, the film's producer has reportedly said.
Producer and sales agent Cassian Elwes was quoted by Us Magazine defending the film, following reports of a walk-out by critics before the movie was over.
"Despite Katie's few scenes, she was fantastic in the role! We've already received three offers on the film. We're 100% behind her and the entire cast's performances in this film," he was quoted as saying.
The producer said there had been confusion because a projectionist mistakenly turned on the lights two scenes before the end of the movie.
He continued: "There wasn't a mass exodus. The people who did see it, liked the film. She (Katie) loves the film and she's great in it. She's very upset by this attack."
