Henry Cavill has said there is no preparing for the fame that comes with playing Superman.

The British actor, 30, is Clark Kent/Superman in the new film Man Of Steel, following lower profile roles in TV series The Tudors and the movies Immortals and Stardust.

Asked about preparing for the recognition that would follow his role in Zack Synder's film, he told The Hollywood Reporter: "I don't know if you can be ready for that, to be honest. There's no knowing what it's going to feel like and how it's going to affect my life."

But he joked: "Going to Starbucks is now a thing of the past."

Man Of Steel stars Amy Adams as Lois Lane, and also features Russell Crowe, Michael Shannon, Diane Lane and Kevin Costner.
