Hemsworth tipped for Robopocalypse
Chris Hemsworth is apparently set to take the lead in Steven Spielberg's Robopocalypse.
The Thor star - who recently welcomed his first child with wife Elsa Pataky - is the legendary filmmaker's top choice for the role, which is currently one of the most coveted parts in Hollywood, reports Deadline.
The actor, whose other recent film credits include Avengers Assemble and Snow White And The Huntsman, hasn't been officially offered the part yet, but he is tipped to be the first star cast.
The 'techno thriller' is based on a novel by Daniel H Wilson about a robot uprising, and humankind's bid to survive.
Spielberg has been developing the movie for some time now and it is expected to arrive in cinemas in 2014.
