Harry Potter star Rupert Grint has dumped his ice-cream van in favour of a Ferrari after deciding it was "a bit creepy" to be driving around handing out lollies to fans.
The red-headed actor, who played young wizard Ron Weasley in the hit films, has bought a classic 1980s Ferrari Testarossa.
Appearing on ITV4's Goodwood: The Moving Motor Show, he told host Alan Davies: "It's something I've always wanted. It's a Testarossa, an 80s one, which actually translates to 'red-headed', so it's perfect."
He told Davies he had stopped taking his van out on the road, saying: "I always think there's something a bit creepy about me driving round giving ice-creams to children so I've refrained from that."
The actor, who is estimated to have made more than £20 million from his starring roles in the Potter films, is on tonight's episode at 9pm.
His other roles include voicing a character in the Postman Pat film and on stage in the West End in a revival of Jez Butterworth's 1950s Soho drama Mojo.
