Mel Gibson's latest film The Beaver has been delayed again.
The drama, which is directed by and also stars Jodie Foster, was originally scheduled to open in US cinemas in March, but has now been pushed back to May.
The troubled actor stars as a depressed man who tries to get back on track with the help of a beaver hand puppet, alongside Oscar nominee Jennifer Lawrence and Star Trek actor Anton Yelchin.
Summit Entertainment reportedly switched the date to accommodate the schedule of Jodie, who will be shooting Roman Polanski's God Of Carnage in Paris in the spring.
The film, which has no UK release date as yet, will premiere at the South by Southwest Film Festival in Austin, Texas, on March 16.
It was originally set for release last year, but got pushed back when leading man Mel was embroiled in a public dispute with ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva, following their break-up.
