Garcia loses sleep over Hemingway
Andy Garcia has confessed he is losing sleep over his new Ernest Hemingway biopic as it is such a big project.
The star of new comedy City Island will produce, direct and star in Hemingway And Fuentes, about Ernest Hemingway's years in Cuba, which he co-wrote with author's granddaughter Hilary.
Andy revealed: "It's a challenge that I've put on my shoulder, so you lose sleep over it. Days go by and weeks go by and you're going 'Okay we still need to raise this much', so it's a personal challenge that you put upon yourself."
He went on: "I'm directing and producing the film and also acting with Sir Anthony Hopkins and Annette Bening who's expressed interest in playing his wife. So we're gathering the finances as we speak."
Andy, 54, claims producing puts even more pressure on you than acting.
"It's like you're nurturing a baby or a child," said the father-of-four.
:: Andy stars in new indie comedy City Island, alongside Julianna Margulies, Emily Mortimer and his daughter Dominik Garcia-Lorido. It's released on July 23.
