Zach Galifianakis has revealed that The Hangover Part III is a fitting finale.
Leading men Zach, Bradley Cooper and Ed Helms have reunited for one last time to cause yet more havoc in Las Vegas, and Zach said this is the perfect final chapter in the franchise.
The 43-year-old, who returns as out-of-control Alan, said: "This time, we're really able to close the book, in a way that's congruent with what we built in the first movie. I think it needed a bit of closure and it's a nice storyline for the third film.
"I hope the audience will like it. Alan's such a weird person so to have him in a strong storyline is hopefully sustainable for the audience. I think without that (intervention), it wouldn't have been as satisfying for Alan to try to grow."
The third film sees bigger stunts, including Zach and Bradley abseiling down a 60ft structure built as a hotel tower.
The actor admitted: "I'm afraid of heights. We were dangling from a wire six or seven floors up. We had harnesses so it was completely safe, but my irrational mind told me otherwise."
