Frozen makes strong debut in US
Kristen Bell's animated film Frozen went down a storm in the US, opening with 15.2 million dollars (£9 million).
The animated movie - also featuring the voices of Idina Menzel and Jonathan Groff - is on track to pass the 80 million dollar mark in its five-day Thanksgiving debut, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The film, due to open in the UK in December, follows a princess (Kristen) who sets off to find her sister, whose icy powers have caused an eternal winter.
However, the top spot at the US office is still held by the Hunger Games sequel, Catching Fire.
The film, which stars Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson, has been out for six days in America and has already raked in more than 200 million dollars (£122.4 million).
