Jamie Foxx has apparently lined up a role in a new gangster movie.
The Oscar-winning Ray actor is attached to star in The Trap, which was written and will be directed by Harmony Korine, reported Variety.
Benicio del Toro, also an Academy Award winner for Traffic in 2000, is tipped to star in the crime thriller as well.
The revenge film follows two childhood friends who go different ways, and by their 30s one has become very successful and the other has spent a lot of his adult life behind bars.
When he is released from jail, he goes on a mission to get even.
Harmony, who enjoyed success with crime drama Spring Breakers two years ago, has said that he considers the movie to be his "most ambitious" yet.
