Faris, Garner in Bachelorette film
Anna Faris and Jennifer Garner are to star together in new comedy The Bachelorette Party.
The film, originally picked up by Nicole Kidman's production company, but now in the hands of Peter Segal's Callahan Filmworks, is a female version of The Hangover which has finally been pushed to the forefront thanks to the stag night comedy's success, pajiba.com reports.
The film tells the story of a high-school teacher who, after being jilted at the altar is put in charge of her uptight cousin's bachelorette party.
The cousin is marrying the teacher's best male friend, but during a wild bachelorette party, the uptight cousin betrays her fiance with a drunken indiscretion, leaving the teacher to decide where her loyalties lie.
House Bunny's Karen Lutz wrote the original novel and adapted the story into a script, and the project is now in search of a director and a free space in Jennifer and Anna's busy schedules to be filmed.
