Eve takes scary turn in Animal
Eve is set to reunite with Drew Barrymore on the upcoming horror thriller Animal.
The Grammy-winning rapper, who previously worked with Drew on her directorial debut Whip It!, is to star in the movie alongside Keke Palmer and Prison Break's Amaury Nolasco, said The Hollywood Reporter.
Drew is producing the thriller through her production company Flower Films, while Brett Simmons is directing.
The rest of the cast includes Parker Young, Joey Lauren Adams, Elizabeth Gillies, Paul Iacono, Thorsten Kaye and Jeremy Sumpter.
The story focuses on a group of close-knit friends who find themselves lost in unfamiliar territory and stranded in an isolated cabin, as they are pursued by a blood-thirsty predator, but as the body count rises, they have to put their differences aside and fight for survival.
Filming has already begun in Manchester, Connecticut, with a release date scheduled for 2014.
Eve, who has released her fourth album Lip Lock, has previously appeared in films such as xXx, Barbershop and its sequel, and Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle.
