Dwayne Johnson is considering a role in the GI Joe sequel, it has been reported.
The wrestler-turned-actor, also known as The Rock, is in talks with Paramount to join GI Joe: Cobra Strikes as a character called Roadblock, said Deadline.
Channing Tatum is expected to reprise his role as lead soldier Duke in the second outing, which will be directed by Jon M Chu and is scheduled for a August 2012 release.
Dwayne, who recently appeared in Fast Five, has been busy filming Journey 2: The Mysterious Island and is said to be circling a role in the sixth film in the Fast And Furious franchise.
There is no official word from the studio as yet.
