Dornan gets thriller lead role
Jamie Dornan has bagged another leading role, this time in thriller The 9th Life Of Louis Drax.
The Fifty Shades Of Grey star has not even appeared in his role as Christian Grey in the erotic novel adaptation yet, but he has already been snapped up to lead another big screen adaptation, according to The Wrap.
He is set to play Dr Allan Pascal, who is drawn into a mystery when a nine-year-old boy suffers a near-fatal fall and the circumstances of the accident uncover a story that tests the boundaries between fantasy and reality.
The Miramax film is being adapted from the Liz Jensen novel as Max Minghella's first screenwriting project, while Alexandre Aja will direct.
Max, who will also co-produce the film with Tim Bricknell, said: "Tim and I are thrilled this deeply personal project is being brought to fruition with passion and integrity. We look forward to collaborating with Alex and Miramax to create a truly original movie that will captivate and surprise audiences."
Jamie is set to appear in the second series of BBC serial killer drama The Fall later this year.
