Dolph's battle against stereotypes
Dolph Lundgren has revealed he has had to battle against stereotype for many years.
The Swedish action man - who is more known for kicking baddies into shape - claimed he was pigeon-holed as a "dumb blond" after starring in films like Universal Soldier, Rocky IV and Masters Of The Universe.
"Big, dumb, blond Swede, that's been the stigma I've had for 25 years, especially in Sweden - there, they are even more upset that I didn't do any [Ingrid] Bergman movies and just went to Hollywood and started killing people," he told The Hollywood Reporter.
But times are finally changing for Dolph, who has a master's degree in chemical engineering and can speak seven languages. He now stars in The Expendables alongside Sylvester Stallone and Jet Li.
He continued: "It's turned a little bit now because I hosted this Eurovision song contest this year and I had to do a little singing and dancing. People saw me as who I am and realised that maybe I'm not so stupid after all."
