Cameron Diaz has got up close and personal with her new co-star on The Counsellor - a cheetah.
The There's Something About Mary star - who has acted alongside Hollywood leading men Tom Cruise, Daniel Day Lewis and Leonardo DiCaprio - works with the big cat on Ridley Scott's new film.
A source told The Sun that Cameron and the cat have bonded well: "When Cameron first started working with the cheetah, it was strutting around like it owned the place. But now she's wearing the trousers.
"It has taken a shine to her, which is good because they've had to shoot a number of scenes together, including a set-up where they shared a bed. The specialist animal handlers have been close by in case the cheetah gets a bit carried away."
Cameron's character in the thriller - which also stars Brad Pitt, Michael Fassbender and real-life couple Javier Bardem and Penelope Cruz - is crazy about big cats and owns one as a pet.
The 40-year-old has even been pictured with a fake cheetah tattoo, trailing down from her neck to her back.
The film, which has been written by Cormac McCarthy, is due out in 2013.
