Diaz fine with bum-baring on screen
Cameron Diaz has revealed she had no qualms about showing her bare bottom in Sex Tape.
The actress, who wore a watercolour-like Vionnet dress at the film's New York premiere, told the Hollywood Reporter that she didn't mind revealing her behind for the first time on the big screen.
"I'm not really naked - it's just my butt! It's not an objectification," she said.
The Charlie's Angel star continued: "If I had done it another time, if I was a young girl who was taking off my clothes to be sexy in a movie - that never felt right to me. For me, this is about two people who are in a loving relationship, being playful with one another and showing how much they love each other."
Cameron plays the screen wife to Jason Segel in the comedy, as part of a couple who hope to spice up their marriage with a sex tape, only to realise the footage had found its way to all their friends and colleagues.
"We're advocating communication - talking to your partner. You shouldn't be sitting separately, thinking, 'Oh, I wish we were having more sex.' You should be communicating that to the one person that you actually do have sex with," she said.
Jason, who she previously starred with in Bad Teacher, said Sex Tape - which he also co-wrote - is a "cautionary tale".
"I'm terrified of the cloud. We did a lot of research. Everything that happens in the movie could happen to you - it's a cautionary tale!" the 34-year-old warned.
