Danny Boyle is to work himself into a Trance, which is set to be the title of his next film.
The Oscar-winning director is tipped to begin shooting the tense thriller in London this September, about an art heist gone wrong and in a similar style to his previous movies Shallow Grave and Trainspotting.
No casting details have been announced yet, reported Deadline.
Danny - who won multiple Oscars for Slumdog Millionaire, and was nominated this year for 127 Hours - will team up with producing partner Christian Colson again, and wants to complete filming before the 2012 Olympics, where he is overseeing the opening ceremony.
It is expected that filming would be done by the end of the year, so the British filmmaker can devote himself exclusively to the Olympics from next January until August.
He will then return to Trance, and finish production so that it will be ready for release in March 2013.
