Colin Farrell set for Disney movie
Colin Farrell is reportedly in talks to join new Disney film Saving Mr Banks.
The Irish actor would join Tom Hanks and Emma Thompson in the movie about Walt Disney's bid to persuade author PL Travers to sell him the film rights to Mary Poppins, reports Deadline.
Oscar-winner Tom has been cast as Disney and Nanny McPhee actress Emma will play Travers. If Colin signs up he will star as the writer's father.
Mr Travers inspired the Mr Banks character who was played by David Tomlinson in Mary Poppins.
Colin, 36, next stars in the Total Recall remake alongside Jessica Biel and Kate Beckinsale.
