Bullock, McCarthy are comedy cops
Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy are set to star together in a new cop comedy from the director of Bridesmaids, Paul Feig.
Oscar-winning actress Sandra and Melissa, who was nominated for an Oscar for her role in Bridesmaids, will play "a highly-strung FBI agent and an unconventional Boston cop" who are brought together in a bid to capture a Russian gangster, Variety reports.
Melissa has been flooded with offers since her Oscar nomination and is currently filming Identity Thief with Jason Bateman. She will reportedly film the new cop movie during her next break from sitcom Mike & Molly.
Sandra, who has mostly taken on supporting roles since her Oscar win and becoming a mother, has played an undercover FBI agent before in comedy Miss Congeniality, in which she had to pose as a beauty queen.
