Adrien Brody has said he'd be "excited" to make a Predators sequel.

Speaking to MTV, the Pianist star admitted the sci-fi film was made with a franchise in mind - and although Predators 2 is yet to be confirmed, he would be happy to get involved.

He said: ""I think it's done well enough to justify [a sequel] for sure.

"I think the goal initially was to make a film that is worthy of [a franchise]. The film is even structured that way... to kick in for another one. I'd be excited. I'd be excited to do it. I think that was part of the allure."

But asked if he had discussed a sequel with director Nimrod Antal in concrete terms, Adrien said: "Never really.

"Making movies is very complex and it takes a tremendous amount of work on so many levels from so many people. There might be time to dream about what's to come.

"Unless it's concrete, unless you already have a specific agenda, you've got to focus all your energy on a day-by-day basis."
