Kate Beckinsale would consider starring in more Underworld films, she has revealed.
The British actress reprises her role as vampire Selene in Underworld: Awakening, six years after 2006's Underworld Evolution, and said she wouldn't mind doing more.
"I always said that there wouldn't be a fourth one, so you can't trust what I am going to say at all. Part of me thinks it's so peculiar," she told Collider.
"I don't have a background playing the same character in TV, so playing the same character again and again seems a little odd. But I am fond of the character and other people are too, so who knows?"
The 38-year-old added: "There's a part of me that thinks maybe it's good to play the menopausal action heroine. Give me Underworld 12 with my beard hairs and me and Bruce Willis can go toe-to-toe!"
Kate - whose husband Len Wiseman directed the fourth outing - revealed she found comfort in putting on Selene's figure-hugging catsuit.
"I like the outfit. It's like a friend, really," she said.
"If you're going to put on anything you last wore six years ago, you do go, 'I hope it fits'. It was all right. The suit itself is relatively forgiving, it's the corset that makes moving about a bit difficult."
But she admitted getting into shape for the stunts took work: "It has been a while so I was a bit concerned. Reading the script, there is a lot of action, a lot of fighting and stunts."
