Barrymore to helm How To Be Single
Drew Barrymore isn't straying too far from her comfort zone with her second directing gig - with romantic comedy How To Be Single.
The Golden Globe-winning actress is to sit in the director's chair for the big-screen adaptation of Liz Tuccillo's novel of the same name, exploring the love lives and break-ups of a group of New Yorkers over ten years, said The Hollywood Reporter.
She will also produce with Flower Films partner Nancy Juvonen.
Drew - who recently reunited with Justin Long in Going The Distance - made her directorial debut in 2009 with Whip It, a roller-skating derby movie starring Ellen Page, Marcia Gay Harden and Juliette Lewis.
She has made her name starring in rom-coms such as Music And Lyrics, The Wedding Singer, 50 First Dates and He's Just Not That Into You, and the forthcoming Everybody Loves Whales with John Krasinski.
