Barrymore to direct Streetlights?

Drew Barrymore has apparently been signed up to direct When The Streetlights Go On.

The Whip It! director and actress will take to the helm of the the new film, which is both a murder mystery and a coming-of-age tale, Tracking-Board reports.

The film has been picked up and fast-tracked by Ron Howard and Brian Glazer's film company Imagine Entertainment, and they will also be the producers of the film.

Drew has a number of other directing projects in the pipeline, including Heist Society, How To Be Single, and a Wizard Of Oz prequel called Surrender Dorothy, although it is as yet unknown which project she will begin first.
