Arnold Schwarzenegger is set to be another action hero in Ten.
The 64-year-old actor and former Californian governor will star in the upcoming action thriller by David Ayer, reported Collider.
"I am really excited about this project and the team that's come together. David Ayer is incredibly talented and exactly what I want for a story this compelling," Arnie said in a statement.
The film, which has been written by Skip Woods, will follow an elite task force from the Drug Enforcement Agency dealing with the world's deadliest drug cartels.
The director added: "This is going to be an amazing role for Arnold. Reality is the watchword of this project and an exciting cast is in the works. I couldn't be more excited as a filmmaker to work with one of my longtime heroes."
Arnie, who is currently filming The Tomb, has lined up a couple of big-screen appearances for his acting comeback. He'll next appear in The Expendables 2 alongside Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham and Jet Li and Last Stand with Forest Whitaker.
