Revenge is best served by having Angelina Jolie play you in a movie about your life it seems.

The British TV chef garnered headlines towards the end of last year when she split from her businessman husband Charles Saatchi.

Rumours of domestic abuse and drug taking surfaced at the same time and shocked and fascinated people around the world.

Now The Sun is claiming a movie about Nigella's life is set for next year, with Angelina a frontrunner for the lead role.

“Angie had planned to take a lot of time off next year but this role is very tempting. She has been gripped like everyone else by all the drama surrounding Nigella these past few months and thinks she is a remarkable woman," a source told the publication.

“The story has got it all — and she’s as intrigued as anyone else by it.”

The film would apparently follow all the ups and downs of the 54-year-old's life and include the recent trial which saw her former aides Elisabetta and Francesca Grillo accused of and cleared of fraud.

In the proceedings Nigella admitted having taken cocaine; however it was decided she would not become part of an investigation.

This could be reviewed, should new evidence come to light.

Nigella and Angelina, 38, are both known for their striking looks, which could make the Hollywood star a perfect choice for the role.

However, the practicalities of playing the chef could prove difficult for Angelina, who has previously admitted she is no use in the kitchen.

“I don’t cook. It’s the one thing I can’t do," she formerly said.
