Aaron Paul has got a Need For Speed
Breaking Bad star Aaron Paul has been cast in new action movie Need For Speed.
The 33-year-old actor - who has won two Emmy Awards for his portrayal of drug dealer Jesse Pinkman in critically acclaimed TV show Breaking Bad - will play the lead role in the racing film based on the EA video game, Entertainment Weekly reported.
Real Steel writer John Gatins and his brother George have co-written the script, which is inspired by the computer games, but not based on any single title in the series.
Act Of Valour director Scott Waugh will direct the film which is due to begin filming early next year with a release date set for February 7, 2014.
The final series of Breaking Bad is due to air next year.
Aaron is currently starring in indie drama Smashes, alongside Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Octavia Spencer. The film follows a school teacher battling alcoholism after she realises her drinking habits have got out of control.
