Minding our Cells in Naas
It was 'All About The Face' when glamorous sisters Elaine and Emily Byrne hosted a select beauty party in Naas last week and neither threat of snow or sleet could keep the ladies away.
Elaine and Emily run Rejuvenate Advanced Skin Clinic which has become a mecca for new beauty innovations and the sisters have earned the name of 'super facialists.'
The chat was easy over trays of skin-boosting juices called the Clean Green and the Detox.
However, the three buzz words on the night were Mind Your Cells and after a chat on the subject, we imbibed a cocktail of that name containing orange, carrot, apple, lemon and ginger. Guests enjoyed organic healthy canapés created by nearby Siblings café and served by Honeydew Events. They included oaty seed energy bites and meringues made with beetroot.
Among the 60 guests on the night were Kildare ladies Zoe Weld, daughter-in-law of trainer Dermot Weld, Grainne Prendergast, Audrey O'Dwyer, Orla Murtagh and Gillian Walsh. I spotted model Sarah McGovern and TV nutritionist Elsa Jones. Communications and event management expert, and mum-of-one, Tamso Doyle looked amazing with another baby due very soon.
