Love/Hate actress Ruth Negga joins Ray Liotta and all-star Irish cast in HBO drama
Actress Ruth Negga is slowly emerging as having it all - the blossoming Hollywood career, the hunky actor boyfriend and style to kill.
Many have tried to do what Ruth Negga is quietly aiming for, but few have succeeded.
After leaving smash Irish drama Love/Hate, the Ethopian/Irish actress has been making waves in Hollywood, landing roles in 12 Years a Slave and World War Z, but her biggest move to date is just around the corner.
Negga will be currently filming alongside Hollywood heavyweights Ray Liotta and Brendan Gleeson in The Money, playing, who else, but an Irish character, Erin Foley.
The famously private actress, who is dating actor Dominic Cooper, will be featured alongside fellow Irish starlet Dominique McElligott, Nathan Lane and Andrea Wiseborough in the HBO drama.
Earlier this year, it was reported that Ruth was also joining the cast of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
"I'm not in any rush to get anywhere," she previously told The Guardian.
"There's a pressure on actors to get somewhere before it's over. But everyone wants longevity, don't they? It's a career. Why be that flash-in-the-pan, taking every job out of worry it'll soon be over?"
"I didn't become an actor to make money," the down-to-earth star added. "And I didn't become an actor to be famous – though people always gasp when you say that, as if it's unfathomable that an actor doesn't want to be a star.
"I like connecting with people, and that's what good art is, a point of connection. There's nothing better, on stage or on film, than feeling like you've achieved that."
