Lisa Fitzpatrick gets a boost with UK book sales
Dublin stylist Lisa Fitzpatrick is set to cash in on her growing fame in the UK.
The mum-of-two is fast becoming a fashion icon across the water thanks to her role on hit breakfast show This Morning and her work with retail giant Oasis.
Now Lisa has been paid the ultimate compliment by the popular high street fashion chain -- they want to sell her book three years after it first appeared in Ireland.
The pretty blonde's first literary enterprise, Enjoying Style and Fashion, was originally published in Ireland in 2010.
"Oasis are looking to take my fashion book to the UK so that is really exciting," Lisa told the Herald.
The book will be sold in January as part of Lisa's contract with the fashion chain with whom she works on a regular basis as she conducts style roadshows across the UK.
It is not the only assault on the book charts that the 41-year-old is planning this year as she gears up to release her second book in April.
The health and fashion book will take a look at Lisa's battle with the scales and will chart her journey from a size 18.
Lisa is in the final stages of editing the book with UK publishing house Kyle Cathie, which will be released in both the UK and Ireland. Lisa, who is happily settled in the capital with her hotelier husband Paul Fitzpatrick and children Sophie (10) and Dalton (8), says that she spends just 24 hours in the UK before heading home again.
She is also busy at home on the work front with regular fashion segments on popular TV3 shows Xpose and Ireland AM as well as work with design labels.
