Life's a panto in Listowel!
Pantomime in Listowel will have a few new faces early next year when locals take to the stage for their production of 'Goody Two Shows' in Scoil Réalta na Maidine.
Billy Keane, Jim White, Shane O'Donoghue and Brendan McNamara are the just of the first timers that will be trying their hand at the production.
"There are all great local characters taking part and to be honest, you'd never know that it was their first time, they've been excellent," said organiser Dónal Whelan, speaking to The Kerryman last week.
"It's a very funny show. The scenery and the sets that we have are outstanding. There'll be singing, dancing, a story of thieves and robbers and the golden magic shoes go missing. It'll be a very good show," he finished.
The show will run from January 2 to January 6; anyone looking for tickets on the night can call 087 702 7871 for all the information.
