Paul McCartney visited the home of Elvis Presley this weekend, and paid respects to The King while he was there.
The former Beatle tweeted a photograph of himself holding a personalised guitar pick, which he then laid on Presley's gravestone. McCartney was repotred as saying taht he donated the pick "so Elvis can play in heaven".
McCartney toured Graceland, Presley's Memphis mansion, on Sunday while on the American leg of his Out There tour. It was the first time he had visited the Tennessee town in 20 years.
McCartney also posted a photo of himself posing with a guitar with Elvis's name inlaid on the fretboard.
The Beatles and Elvis were rivals in chart history, and the Liverpudlian band played with Presley in Memphis in 1966.
