Justin Bieber odds-on favourite to serve jail time, cry on Oprah and star in Fast & Furious
Justin Bieber is highly likely to serve more than 28 days behind bars in 2014, say the bookies, who fancy Bieber’s chances of landing himself a lengthy jail sentence after his recent spate of arrests at 14/1.
Labelling "music’s number one twerp" the "bloke with the most punchable face in showbiz", Irish bookmakers Paddy Power have none-the-less successfully capitalised on the pop star’s shortcomings, which saw him briefly remanded in custody on Thursday morning for alleged drag racing, DUI, driving with an expired licence and resisting arrest.
"Do the right thing and throw away the key (to his car, of course)," a Paddy Power spokesman said, before offering up 8/1 odds that Bieber is deported back to Canada, 4/1 that he’ll wind up bawling into Oprah’s lap in a teary televised confessional and 33/1 that he’ll star in the forthcoming Fast & Furious movie.
