JK Rowling joins Terry Wogan in Royal Box at Wimbledon

HARRY Potter creator JK Rowling joined the list of famous faces to be spotted at the Royal Box on Wimbledon's centre court.

The writer was seen on day two of the grand slam in south-west London, with broadcaster Limerick-born Sir Terry Wogan.

Prince Michael of Kent also attended the All England club, sitting with Wimbledon Chairman Philip Brook.

Princess Eugenie was spotted at SW19 on day one wearing a printed red dress, a smart blue blazer and carrying a bowling bag.

It has been rumoured that the Duchess of Cambridge will attend the championships later this week with her mother Carole Middleton, and possibly her sister Pippa.

Andy Murray rounded off day two with a convincing win over Russian Nickolay Davydenko.

In his first outing at Wimbledon 2012, he showed himself to be a genuine contender for the title, losing only six games on his way to a 6-1, 6-1, 6-4 win that will send vibrations through the rest of the field.
