Jessie J recovers from throat illness
The singer was forced to cancel two Irish gigs last week.
Brit-award winning singer Jessie J has finally recovered from the throat infection which kept her from performing two Irish gigs last week. The Price Tag performer was forced to cancel as a support act for Justin Timberlake at the Phoenix Park last Wednesday and a separate gig on The Rick O'Shea show on 2FM.
She had blamed the air conditioning to cope with Ireland's unexpected heat wave as the cause of her illness. But, she is now back to her best after taking to the stage at The Eden Sessions in Cornwall last night as the headlining act.
The former Voice mentor was also forced to pull out of a Paris performance in order to recuperate. And refunds were given to those Jessie J fans who missed out on seeing her take to the stage in Dublin.
"Heartbeats, I'm so sorry I can't be with you at my shows tonight in Dublin or tomorrow in Paris," she tweeted after breaking the news of her cancellation. "I promise I will be back very soon! X"
She then maintained a Twitter silence while in recovery mode, only returning to the social networking site yesterday in order to promote the gig.
