'I've 60 women on dating boot camp waiting list', says Kathryn Thomas
She's tried to sort out the nation's obesity crisis on RTE's Operation Transformation - but now Kathryn Thomas is ready to play Cupid to Ireland's lovelorn singletons with her special 'singles' week' at a Kerry boot camp next month.
Demand is high, with Kathryn revealing she has a "waiting list of about 60 women" keen to sign up to the next one.
This June sees her moving her boot camp from Parknasilla Hotel to Temple Lodge in Westmeath, with bookings coming in fast and furious for the singles' week.
"We've actually got so much interest in the dating boot camp that we're thinking of running a second one in Westmeath," she said.
"If I'm going to buy a hat for a wedding, we might as well try to get two weddings out of it and run two separate weeks.
"If any of the gentlemen out there from First Dates Ireland didn't get a date, they should come along."
Kathryn only finished filming on the Voice of Ireland last Sunday, but will shortly turn her attentions back to the Kerry camp.
She revealed how she's more than happy to ditch her stilettos to "hang out in my runners for a couple of weeks".
The TV star, who has Aviva Health as her camp's new sponsor, is also thrilled to have her sister Linda back home and joining her in the project.
However, she is hoping to squeeze in a holiday over the summer too, with partner Padraig McLaughlin.
"I'm thinking of going to Cuba, because I've never been before," she said. "So myself and himself will take off for a week, go to Havana and chill out by the beach."
