Love/Hate actress Aoibhinn McGinnity is confident the anticipated fifth series of RTE's gangland drama will be the "strongest" to date.
"I haven't got any bribes from friends or family members yet asking for plot twists and turns. I think they know at this stage it's a lost cause," McGinnity told the Irish Independent.
The actress will miss watching the first episode in the season air, as instead she will be in New York attending the US premiere of Eoin Colfer's romantic comedy 'Poison Pen'.
McGinnity says fame does not sit easy with her. "Being recognised never gets normal - people roar 'Trish!'," she said. "It can be uncomfortable and you just don't know what to do but they are well meaning."
She plays Jovie in 'Elf: the Musical', based on the popular 2003 film, when it hits the Bord Gais Energy stage this Christmas. "It's nice being in something my nieces and nephews can actually watch," she laughed.
