Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor - Season Pass includes a showdown with Sauron
With the release of Shadow of Mordor imminent, there's little left to do but tell us about the extras available with a season pass.
At this stage we've been fed a constant stream of Shadow of Mordor trailers, highlighting everything from combat systems to where it all fits in to the greater Lord of the Rings story. All that's left, save playing the game in a few days, is the option of going for the Season Pass. As with a number of titles using the season pass model, players get early access to certain game modes and exclusive content.

While the true test will be in the playing, the promise of hunting wild animals and going toe-to-toe with Sauron is a tempting one.
