Star Wars Battlefront's beta will be open to everyone
Everyone will be able to download and play the Star Wars Battlefront beta when it goes live. It will feature online and offline game modes.
Anyone interested in playing the upcoming Star Wars Battlefront beta will be able to download it as soon as it’s available.
Community chief Mathew Everett revealed some interesting details about the beta. It will feature the 40-player Walker Assault on Hoth, and Drop Zone on Sullust. The beta will also include a beta Survival Mission mode on Tatooine, which can be played alone, with a friend online, and even in couch co-op.
Everett also revealed that the beta will feature AI bots in the Fighter Squadron mode, ten of them on each side. Players will be armed with a primary blaster along with a hand of Star Cards, which can be customised.
The Star Wars Battlefront beta will take place across PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. DICE is yet to reveal when the beta will start, but it’s expected to open in early October. More news will be released in the near future.
