Man hides love notes for girlfriend scattered throughout game of Sims 4

A romantic gamer has shared the story of how he created the perfect Valentine's Day surprise for his Sims-mad girlfriend.

Reddit user 'FerrisWheel42' posted screen grabs of the notes online, explaining how he hid the notes in the popular game.

He wrote that his girlfriend "often plays 'The Sims' at my place when I'm cooking or busy" and he got the idea to "surprise her with a love note".

"I made a Sim version of myself, then had him write 3 books. Then he went over to my girlfriends' most recent household, and hid them".

He says that the first book was "left in a place she would easily find it" but that the other two required her to look.

When a player hovers the mouse over a book, a short description appears. In here was where the romantic wrote his love note.

"You're the most amazing, funny, clever, beautiful, caring and thoughtful lady I've ever met.... I love you so much".

He added "She found them on Valentines Day, and her reaction was much more excited than when I gave her flowers... She hugged me so hard I lost balance".
