Vogue Williams and comedian Danny O'Brien to join Damien Dempsey for Dublin Racing Festival
Vogue Williams and comedian Danny O'Brien will be joining music headliners Damien Dempsey and trad giants Stockton's Wing for the Dublin Racing Festival.
The festival takes place at Leopardstown Racecourse on February 3-4 and will see Vogue take to the decks for two sets on the Saturday while Danny, fresh from his solo show at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, will compere the comedy line-up which includes Fred Cooke, Eric Lalor, Joanne McNally and Gearoid Farrelly.
Damien Dempsey, meanwhile, will headline Saturday night while trad legends Stockton's Wing will top the bill on Sunday.
In terms of racing, there will be talent from Ireland and the UK competing for two titles - the Unibet Irish Gold Cup and the BHP Insurance Irish Champion Hurdle. In total there will be seven Grade 1 races totalling €1.5 million in prize money.
Rugby fans attending the festival won't have to miss out on Ireland's 6 Nations clash with France on the Saturday as it will be shown live on the big screen.
