Stay safe! Plan ahead in case you're 'consciously uncoupled' on St. Patrick's Day Newsdesk Newsdesk

Make a plan in case you get "unconsciously coupled" during the St. Patrick's Day festivities tomorrow, is the advice coming from An Garda Siochana.

The official Garda Twitter account has been known to inject a bit of humour into their social media posts - and this is just another example of their witty warnings.

A parade map route and a personal safety tip list was posted alongside the cheeky tweet.

Confused? Our nation's peacekeepers are simply advising those heading out to the parade to make prior meeting arrangements just in case you get separated from your friends and family in the crowds.

The tweet banter is a nod to the split announcement from Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin in which they revealed that were 'consciously uncoupling', aka separating.

If you're still perplexed, take no heed except to keep yourself safe and have a happy St. Patrick's Day!
